For my money, I'll take 1980's "Almost Was, Is, or Ever Shall Be". Flawless! Immensely listenable, exceptionally tight songwriting, especially for punk rock. The only give-away that he was a little 'off' is the rude lyrics, which are as smart as they are funny. I do realize it's hard to take him seriously because of his antics - which is a shame, because he was such a talented guy.
