I'm a fan of this site, and I used to be a fan of Blue October, but as I got older and less angsty, I got over them. This review, however, is TERRIBLE. We get it: you HATE Blue October. When they sent that email about going, you should have passed on it and let someone who could write and objective review go. You basically hated on The Black and White Years (a band which I think are OK, maybe a lacking originality) and Blue October, not because they were terrible live, but because you had a preconceived notion regarding this band and the music they play before you even got on the list for the show. I wouldn't be surprised if you wrote 80% of this before you even walked into that venue. So, Corey, next time you want to write a "review", kindly review the comments on this site and realize, you're a terrible writer. And unless you begin to see things objectively, you'll NEVER move past this job.
I'm a HUGE Ani DiFranco fan and will be there whether I win tickets or not. However, that being said, winning them would be easier on the wallet. :-)
I have to say, the most love I've ever felt at a concert, was at the Swell Season at ACL. Everyone was listening, enjoying the music, not being a general bunch of dicks. I was singing quietly to myself and the lady next to me tapped me on the shoulder. I apologized for singing and disrupting her experience and she said to me "NO, keep on singing. You have a beautiful voice! And you made my experience that much more amazing."

God I hope it isn't Midlake. They are honestly one of THE most boring bands I have ever seen live. And that says a lot.
I worked like a chump. Looks like I miss allllll the fun.
Jesus Christ. I feel like I just lost the ability to form complete twitter thou
