Surely someone around here knows who is hosting Skid Row this weekend. Come on, speak up.
Went here on Friday morning and it was a wonderful reminder of Houston's diversity: families, friends, oil workers and office workers of all colors and background. Extremely friendly staff. The food is in no way healthy and the coffee was thin diner fare, but it was all better (and a lot more interesting) than IHOP, at least.
We didn't eat at the bistro, but the market itself was worth the stop on the way back into town. What a gorgeous store. It reminded us very much of Fox & Obel in Chicago.
